The Intel entry-level chipset shortage should ease completely by next month, due to more output from Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) and the OEM industry releasing part of its reserve inventory, according to sources in the Taiwan motherboard industry. However, motherboard makers are wary of slower demand in the beginning of next year due to seasonal effects, noted the sources.
