MSI Launches MultiConnect Panel and Voice Genie
MSI has announced two new exclusive products: MultiConnect Panel and Voice Genie
The MultiConnect Panel comes equipped with an OC Genie button, high-speed Bluetooth 3.0 module, Wi-Fi and two USB 2.0 ports. It has a standard 5.25-inch bezel designed to fit into an open external 5.25-inch bay on your computer case. The OC Genie button on the panel allows users to boost system performance with MSI's exclusive OC Genie technology with one simple button push. The Bluetooth 3.0 module allows for quick connection via smart-phones, tablets and synchronization with notebooks. Wi-Fi supports the latest 802.11n protocol with a transfer rate of up to 150 Mb/s. The two USB ports connecting with the Super Charger on the mainboard supply power, with voltage 3 times higher than conventional USB ports, allows users to quickly charge their smartphones or tablets.
In September, we revealed the first appearance of the Voice Genie when it was discussed at IDF. As discussed in September, the Voice Genie is the first voice control system with system startup control for a motherboard. Users can command the system to power on/off, open the browser, run MSI's exclusive Control Center, set the system to sleep mode, wake up the system, and run other functions via voice control. In addition, Voice Genie comes equipped with two sets of voice recognition (English and Traditional Chinese) and supports up to 8 customized voice commands. Users can enjoy additional convenience, in lieu of the keyboard and mouse, for some of the most common PC operations with Voice Genie. In addition, the Voice Genie has a mic in, mic out and ON/OFF switch.

No amd Mb support . I have a amd 990 Mb. It would be nice to say switch off/on ,browser on/off and oc to a pc.
You mean three times the current, not voltage, otherwise it would blow your devices up instead of charging them

yes i thought that too
Cool stuff!
Now how does that voice genie card work if there are no gold contacts?
I notice there is a internal header on it, so maybe some special cable that
connects that to your mobo?
