Microsoft is opening the doors of its first brick-and-mortar store this week and yes, there will be a special celebrity guest. Drum-roll, please! This Thursday, Microsoft presents Windows 7 and Ashley Tisdale!
Earlier this year Microsoft announced it would open the company's first retail store in the fall. If you (like everyone else) assumed that "fall" meant October 22, aka Windows 7 day, then give yourself a pat on the back. At 10 a.m. this Thursday, Microsoft hits Fashion Square mall in Scottsdale, Arizona.
If you want gift bags and tickets to see Ashley Tisdale, arrive early. Tisdale is scheduled to perform at 5 p.m., so make sure you're out of there by 4 p.m. you get there early to get a good spot.
Now, I don't have to ask how excited you are, because I just know all of our readers are huge Ashley Tisdale fans. I mean, I'm so stoked that I had to Google 'Ashley Tisdale' to find out who he/she was (she was in High School Musical 1, 2 and 3 in case any of my fellow ill-informed brethren are wondering).

The only thing I can think of is that they're trying to target a group of people who will have no choice but to ask their parents take them to the concert. Once they get there, the kids can listen to music and they can wander around and be tempted by all the wonderful things on sale. It's the perfect crime!
