Reminder: Don't Forget to Watch the PlayStation Event

By - Source: Tom's Hardware US

Where and when to watch!

The day has finally come. Right now, Sony is preparing for a PlayStation announcement in New York City. The company revealed plans for the event on February 1 but kept quiet regarding details of the evening. While many assume it's the introduction of the PlayStation 4, it could just as easily be a PS Vita event, or an event related to PSN and cloud services.

Here's a video teasing the event that Sony put out a couple of weeks back:

internetladbesides what's the big whoop about the PS4 being announced? You know it's coming. It's not like Sony is going to say "Well, the PS3 was pretty successful, We should quit while we're ahead, right guys?"

    Seriously?

How would this sound to you if someone said the same thing about a new GPU?
besides what's the big whoop about the GeForce GTX Titan being announced? You know it's coming. It's not like Nvidia is going to say "Well, the GTX 680 was pretty successful, We should quit while we're ahead, right guys?"

It's news, not a sponsored ad.

soldier2013Uhm no, I had these graphics and specs on my PC 2 years ago. To impress me they would have put in a 256Gb SSD hard drive, 16gb ram, and a 8000 AMD series/700 Nvidia series cards capable of 4K playback not just 1080p. Then we will talk, but so far I'm not impressed, but hey if your 12- 25 years old I'm sure this impresses.

Those specs you mentioned are ridiculous for a console because they aren't needed. If you knew what you were talking about you'd know every component in a console is optimized and 4K TVs won't be mainstream for years. Your condescending tone at the end is pathetic also...grow up.

GDDR5 system memory? Quasi save states? That sounds very promising.
