Samsung raises panel forecast on increased LCD TV demand

Samsung Electronics has revised its forecast for overall LCD panel demand this year upward by two million units, with its forecast for LCD panel demand growing from 18 million to 20 million units. In addition, despite revising its overall monitor panel demand downward by one million units, Samsung expects prices to increase 5-10% for the segment this quarter.
