Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) announced the release of the SiS756/965 chipset to support PCI Express X16 in combination with AMD Opteron and Athlon64 FX processors. The chipset also integrates functionality for RAID 0, 1, 0+1 and JBOD, providing fast access to harddrive data, intelligent redundant backup functionality, and secure file management. (THG)
