Blizzard to Reveal Mystery Title Next Month at PAX East
It's not the Titan MMO, according to Blizzard.
Is Blizzard finally gearing up to introduce its Titan MMO? Nope, at least, not at PAX East next month. The company recently sent out an invitation to the press announcing that it will be revealing an entirely new game at the Boston show taking place March 22 to March 24. According to Blizzard, it will be "a little something different" than what we've seen so far.
"We've been working on a little something, different from our other games, and we're pleased to invite you to be the first to see it," the company said. "It's not a sequel, expansion, or that rumored next-gen MMO, but it's something we're excited for you to get your hands on."
Blizzard previously teased that a surprise awaited PAX East, and it was assumed that Blizzard would simply provide a playable version of Diablo 3 for PlayStation 3 (which will likely be there anyway) for hands-on exposure. However this latest announcement indicates it's something previously unannounced, yet doesn't necessarily state it's an entirely new IP (brand, franchise, etc).
So what does Blizzard have up its sleeve? The company typically makes its big reveals during BlizzCon which will be making a return this November – which is why this PAX East reveal is so mysterious. There's speculation that Blizzard has resurrected Starcraft: Ghost now that the studio has its console hands dirty once again.
As Gamefront points out, Blizzard's email calls it "the new Blizzard project." The company may be introducing Blizzard All-Stars, the League of Legends competitor that was originally called "Blizzard DOTA" until Valve took the studio to court over the DOTA name. It could also be the project Jay Wilson began working on after leaving the Diablo 3 team.
That said, let the speculation begin. It's not a sequel or expansion, so stifle those Warcraft 4 thoughts until November.

f$ that loser.
Blizzard: Now we are releasing the real Diablo 3.
After the crap that was SC2 & D3, with their insistence on using the WoW engine for everything, I really, really am not holding my breath that it'll be any good.
but anyway... im with him on the matter
they are gonna try and add some wow crap to it and it will ruin it.
but this time blizzard will launch a new IP, so the success cant piggy back off the previous titles.

I hope you are joking. SC2 crap? Using WoW engine for everything? My brain is hurting right now.
There are several things wrong in this sentence.
Blizzard took Valve to court, not the other way around.
DotA never was Blizzard DotA. It was DotA All-Stars.
Blizzard DotA (now known as Blizzard All-Stars) is a SCII map.
DotA was a W3 map.
DotA 2, which Blizzard tried to sue Valve over, is a stand-alone version of DotA.
SC2's always online was a real pity. SC2 has good gameplay, but I'm not always online. So I didn't get it. Only money-making failures out of Blizzard nowadays. Makes them money, but leaves us with despair.

So, chances are their next game wont be interesting for me either. However, ive been proven wrong before, so i will wait and see.
Activision-Blizzard partners up with ebay for their next title.
Either way, I certainly don't care about 99% of the games I hear about these days. I could use this opportunity to rant about how consoles strangled the games industry anyway (think of all the cool ideas we were promised in tech demos over the years which couldn't come to be because they were unsupported/too power-hungry for the crappy old current-gen consoles) but that wouldn't entirely apply as we are seeing an interesting resurgence in smaller, 'simpler' games which prove quite enjoyable.
I don't know, it just seems like there's too much generic crap out there now.
I want to make sure plenty of professional and user reviews hit the web about whatever it is.
Blizzard has completely lost my trust in them any more. Diablo 3 was the last pre order I ever make from Blizzard.
