TMD (Toshiba Matsushita Display) is now developing 23" and 32" LCD panels with a 5 ms latency time! The panels are expected to be on the market by the end of the year. The announced angle of vision (160/160) makes the panels good candidates for multimedia applications - which is the goal of the operation, since TMD intends to market the panels to Nanao, among others, for its LCD televisions.
The low resolutions announced (1280x768 for the 23" and 1366x768 for the 32"), however, don't make the displays all that attractive to PC users.
