Mainstream monitor panel prices are expected to see a significant increase starting from this month, according to research firm WitsView Technology. Owing to the tight supply of key material amid rising demand, 17" monitor panel prices are likely to surge 3-5% in the first half of August, following a US$1 rebound in the second half of July.
