Albatron Technology today announced the Nvidia-based AGP6600 and AGP6600GT VGA cards, both of which are designed for the AGP 8x interface. Clearly, by offering products featuring Nvidia's Geforce 6600 series of GPUs, Albatron has decided to tap the continuing market potential of AGP 8x, providing, in the process, an alternative to the growing trend at many companies to only offer high-end graphics cards for PCI-Express.
