Albatron introduces new AMD and Intel motherboards at Computex

Displaying its new motherboards at Computex Taipei 2006, Albatron Technology keeps a balance between two competing desktop CPU platforms that are expected to battle for market share in the second half of 2006. AMD's Socket AM2 platform is represented by two new motherboards from Albatron, the K8NF4X-AM2 and the KM51PV-AM2, both utilizing Nvidia nForce4 chipsets. Two others, the PXP965 and the PXG965, support Intel's upcoming Conroe processor, being based on Intel's 965-series chipsets.
