Amazon's 2010 Bestsellers: Kindle Dominates
Amazon has released its annual bestseller lists of overall sales, most-wished-for products and most popular gifts.
Amazon's Kindle already came in first for the holiday shopping season and Amazon now said that it was also the bestselling electronics product, the most-wished-for electronics product and the most popular gift in electronics for 2010. The bestselling list indicates that the $139 Wi-Fi Kindle is the most popular version, followed by the $190 black 3G model. The white 3G version is currently listed at #4 on the weekly updated list, the $380 DX follows at #11.
The electronics list shows the 32 GB iPod touch in third place, the 8 GB model rounds out the top 5.
In other categories, the bestselling movie of the year was The Blind Side. The most popular video game was call of Duty: Black Ops; The leading software was Microsoft Office 2010 Home & Student and the bestselling computer was Apple's 13.3-inch MacBook Pro. These items reflect the most-wished for products exactly, but deviate from the products that were given as gifts. In this case, the most popular video game was Just Dance 2, the most popular computer was Toshiba's Satellite TruBrite 15.6-inch Laptop and the most popular software was Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.

Ive got the nook, and I do like that the Kindle doesn't have all the glitches and the few missing features, but I think with an update the nook could easily out pace the kindle...
