ARM: Migration To 32-bit MCU Is An Industry-wide Consensus
Having seen more than 200 ARM-powered 32-bit microcontroller units (MCUs) become available worldwide, the leading microprocessor intellectual property (IP) vendor, reiterated that it is now an industry-wide consensus to migrate MCUs to 32-bit specifications. Analog Devices, Atmel, Freescale Semiconductor, NXP Semiconductors, Oki Electric Industry, Samsung Electronics, Sharp and Texas Instruments (TI) are some of the well-known companies that have adopted ARM's solution, the company said.
