Avago Introduces 1-Watt High-power LED
Avago Technologies recently announced its first 1-Watt white Moonstone power LED emitter for use in a variety of street lamps, portable, task, backlighting, and decorative lighting applications. Avago's ASMT-MW09 LED features a low profile design and delivers high flux output of up to 95 lumens (lm) at 350 mA drive current. Moreover, this white power LED from Avago will enable lighting application designers to achieve greater lumens output without sacrificing lumens per Watt efficiency by using higher drive currents. Avago is a supplier of analog interface components for communications, industrial and consumer applications.
