CeBIT 2008: Some leaks of the 9800 GX2

Next news
3:44 PM - March 5, 2008 by Florian Charpentier

Although the launch of the GeForce 9800 GX2 was postponed to March 18, it didn't stop it from making a timid appearance on some of the most daring booths. The official order has been not to show the card.

We have nevertheless seen it at three manufacturers: Albatron, Inno3D and Galaxy. It was just eye candy though since the cards weren't nothing else than reference boards like a big majority of the high end products. Pictures and specifications have already been unveiled for quite some time (two G92 @ 600 MHz and 1 GB of GDDR3 @ 1 GHz). The price of this GeForce 9800 GX2 should be between $690 and $780 (€450 and €512).
