While some companies argue that even the recent Thunderbolt 2 standard is too slow for graphics cards, it's more than sufficient for small scale enterprise storage. And if you have Thunderbolt 2 but need SAS, HighPoint is here to help.

The RocketStor 6328 links two Thunderbolt 2 connectors to two SAS devices or a dual-port SAS enclosure. But how far can we go with Thunderbolt?

Far enough to host up to four full-length controller cards and four internal drives within a compact external enclosure, namely HighPoint's NA211TB-LD.
