Cooler Master Extends Warranty on Two Water Coolers
Cooler Master's Nepton 140XL and 280L water cooling units now feature a longer warranty.
Cooler Master has had a change of heart, and decided to have more faith in the Nepton 140XL and Nepton 280L liquid coolers. As such, the warranty periods have been extended.
These liquid coolers are units featuring 140 mm or 280 mm radiators, and thus have support for 140 mm fans. They are built using a pump designed and built in-house, and feature thick FEP tubing that counters the natural evaporation process that happens with rubber tubing. The copper cold-plate is built with a micro-channel fin structure for improved heat transfer from the CPU surface to the coolant.
Cooler Master has announced that rather than handling a two year warranty period on these units, it will now provide a five-year manufacturer warranty period. Apparently, they haven't been getting very many returns. Our tests also show that the Nepton 280L is one of the better performing all-in-one water coolers.

thundervore Nice to see they stop skimping on the warranty since Corsair been giving 5 year warranty's for so long now. Now how about making some damn cases that actually support their 140 and 280 AIO coolers! This is the sole reason why I am going to get rid of my Storm Scout 2 and switching to a NZXT 440 as soon as they make a revision 2 and the price drops.Reply
