Corning says LCD TVs to have 33% penetration rate in 2007

During its latest financial announcement, Corning estimated LCD TVs should account or 33% of the global TV market or approximately 68 million units in 2007. This would be a significant increase over the estimated 22% penetration rate or 43 million units produced last year, according to the company.
