Corsair Unveils New RM-Series PSUs
Out with the old, in with the new.
Corsair this week added a brand new line of power supplies to its product portfolio. Dubbed the RM series, this line includes six new models of PSU and will replace the Corsair's TX series. The RM series adds improved monitoring capability, as well as 80 PLUS Gold rated energy efficiency. These new PSUs are also quieter than those in the TX series. They feature low-noise capacitors and transformers and a Zero RPM Fan mode that only spins the PSU fan under the heaviest loads.
The RM1000 model comes with a Corsair Digital Bridge cable, which is optional with other models. All of the RM series PSUs come with low-profile black cables, but customers can also opt for individually sleeved cable kits in an array of colors. The line spans 450W to 1000W and ranges from $99.99 to $199.99 in price. Corsair is promising energy efficiency up to 90 percent (92 percent on 230 AC). Check the different models below:
| Model | Continuous Power | Suggested Retail Price (US) |
| RM450 | 450 watts | $99.99 |
| RM550 | 550 watts | $109.99 |
| RM650 | 650 watts | $119.99 |
| RM750 | 750 watts | $129.99 |
| RM850 | 850 watts | $159.99 |
| RM1000 | 1000 watts | $199.99 |
No word on specific dates for release but Corsair is promising September availability, so keep an eye out.

Can you provide a link? I've never heard of this.
I have an AX860i, and I regret spending the money on it. The monitor doesn't work.

If you bought the AX860i solely for the Corsair Link technology then you shouldn't have bought it and instead bought the AX860. Same PSU, just no Link Software.
Corsairs AX series are extremely good PSUs with really good voltages across the board and great efficiency (it is a Platinum after all). The link software is meh honestly as the best benefit is to monitor the voltages.
As for the software, probably a bug and might be different per system or OS>
I do like how the link you provided had some screen shots stating "Sponsored by Seasonic/CM".
While it should have been in the specs, I think the picture does a good job at showing that it is fully modular.

Except the majority wouldn't recognize that fact. She needs to write for everyone not just the tech savvy.

As for the Link software not working, go on the Corsair forums and get the newest version. Not to deny that some people may have had some problems, but I for one have never had a problem with the Link software:
