I read another site with kid of the same format, different topic though and all they had was a "Happy Thanksgiving" entry, remember most people don't work on thanksgiving.
I was hoping for an i5/i7 laptop with a 4850M or an 260M for about $900-1100.
For example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220642
Still...thats not that EPIC of a deal that the reputation of black friday carry's
Although I partially agree with you, do you realize yesterday was THANKSGIVING?!? I'm glad Tom's was not working yesterday. They deserve a day off too.
That being said, I don't really enjoy the direction Tom's has gone over the last few years either.
Is there something I am missing here? If there are complaint about this site, wouldn't they be directed towards support or just the site admins in general? On here it just sounds like crying. I've even done it a few times and I always seem to get a negative response. Not everyone feels the same way so in general no one is gonna boycott Tom's Hardware. Anyway, say what you want. I guess it's OK to voice your opinion just as I am.

Good deal man! That looks like a nice monitor, especially if you have a gaming system and cable service!
Including L4D II which along is $50 two days ago. I am getting this thought I already have TF2.

Meanwhile, HP has a $450 coupon to a $1200 laptop (roughly 37.5% off), a $400 coupon to a $1300 laptop (roughly 31% off), $170 off a $700 laptop (roughly 24% off), and a $400 coupon to a $1150 desktop (roughly 35% off).
And that's not to mention the frankly awsome deals they have on their printers (the (confusing) promo email says up to 50% off, but there is also a laserjet with 62% off)
Yesterday and today were both holidays for the entire staff =)

hahahha
To everyone else that is complaining...GO look for your own deal! Don't expect the good stuff to be here, $ucker$~!
I keep playing those flash games waiting for that stuff to load and it just never happens.
What about the C2Q Q9000 (2.0GHz) variation for $1299/99 from BestBuy?
It has no bluetooth/bluray, but hey, cheaper and more powerful.
And yes, I kno what you mean. I want a bloody laptop with a i5/i7 and a 260m (or a 5770m if ever released), 17" screen at 1920x1200. For only $1000.
I run CAD/CFD/Renderings so an i7 esp. will help out quite a lot.
