EE Announces New 30-day SIM-only Plans for Customers

Though 4G is pretty common in the United States and Canada, the UK 4G market is only just getting going. Everything Everywhere's EE remains the only network dishing out 4G LTE service, and it looks like it's going to stay that way for another few months. In the meantime, those who are eager to try 4G can do so thanks to a handful of new plans from EE.

The company is calling these new plans "30-day SIM-only plans." They start at £23 per month and all come with unlimited minutes. The cheapest plan comes with 500 GB of data, while the more expensive plans offer 20 GB of data for £63 per month.

"It’s our ambition to provide consumers with the most comprehensive range of 4GEE plans possible," EE said in a statement. "With these new 30-day options, we’re pleased to be providing an even more flexible way to access 4G."

Would expect prices to drop when the other networks launch 4G services, especially Three who will be offering it at no extra cost. Instead of trying to fleece people like EE.
