Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One Win at Annual EISA Awards
Android Leading in the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) Awards.
The Annual EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) Awards have taken place again, and this time both Samsung and Google's Android have walked away with multiple awards to their names. The board consists of 50 magazines in 20 European countries that form one of the most prestigious multimedia magazines associates in the world, who convene every June to decide which products out of the six categories deserve a reward.
Samsung won three awards: The European Social Media award went to the Galaxy S4 Mini, while the original Galaxy S4 received the European Green Phone award and the Galaxy NX the European Photo Innovation Trophy. While Samsung's rejoicing stopped there, more Android devices joined the awards list, with the HTC One getting the European Advanced Smartphone Award. Furthermore, the European Consumer Smartphone Award for 2013-2014 went to the Huawei Ascend P6, with the equivalent reward in the tablet category going to Sony's Xperia Tablet Z.

I think you're confusing everything. The HTC One or Samsung Galaxy S4 and the S4 mini didn't won the trophy of photo innovation. It was the Samsung Galaxy NX. It's a 20.3 MP android powered camera. It has a APC-C sensor, which is a lot larger than the one you mentioned. It's also the same type of sensor used in a lot of the entry level DSLRs.
HTC One won the Advanced Smartphone Award, has nothing to do with imaging. Don't mix things up.
Also, good job for Huawei.
And shouldn't Samsung get the award for anything the HTC One wins considering most of its hardware is manufactured by Samsung?
