This is What Leadtek's Fermi Cards Look Like

by - source: Tom's Hardware US

All the board shots so far of video cards based on Nvidia's upcoming GPU look the same.

Leaktek is the latest semi-confirmed OEM to be producing graphics cards using Nvidia's GeForce GTX 480 and GTX 470 GPUs. Like all the rest of the initial batch of GF100-based products, Leadtek will be using Nvidia's reference design right down to the cooler.

GTX 480:

GTX 470:

Hang tight just a couple more days, as all will be revealed on Friday March 26 evening.

that 480 looks like it has a v10 under the hood...

we are entitled to at least one REAL benchmark, 2 more weeks left if all goes well..

2 more weeks? i heard the release was this friday, the 26th. or is that when the curtain is lifted, not when we can get our hands on one.

Which would you rather have?

Fermi: Tons of hype, no benchmarks, nothing.

Radeon 5xxx: No hype, killer performance in my rig as I type.

I believe the choice is clear.

Okay, I forgive you guys for the yet more pictures. If I had that 470 I'd leave my case open 24/7. God I love gold.

Marcus, tell me, you guys already have cards and have already benchmarked them, but are simply not allowed to put up any results yet, right? We'll see them all by Monday, right?

hype like this is good because of all the hype people are going to buy this regardless, then sell them because we know the performnace is similar to 5870s and that also an optimised nvidia benchmark, lol the 26th is the day they released, im in NZ should i be the first in the world to get one?

ATI Radeon 5000 Series = Batmobile
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 400 Series = Lamborghini?

480 is beautiful, but why green towards the pc bracket, and the rest of the card a different color design? Ditch that green and ill buy it just to display it in the window :p

brisingamen 03/25/2010 4:50 AM

its green because nvidia has basically built all the gtx 480's because its a delicate peice and nvidia cant afford anymore bad press than they are already getting, they basically dont trust their partners to assemble them well enough to not cook a good portion of them literally.

why do they bother with these stupid graphics? when the card is in the case, all you'll see is the PCB.

Looks cool. Does anyone notice a trend here? These cards have been advertised probably more than any in history. Oooooo Feeermiii, is it the name or wha lol.

And marketed the same way. Lots of horse power, speed, and acceloration. But you're still stuck driving with the same speed limits, an jammed into bumper-to-bumper traffic at a 5 mph crawl.

Crazy artwork, nice design and it will look good, it should be glow in the dark or have orange lights.... however looks are less than half the battle and mean nothing especially when the price suggests that it will be more expensive than the Ati radeon variants and supposedly only offers a 10-15%boost... of course this is all speculation for now so we will soon learn the truth behind these overdue cards....

Wow.... I haven't commented on any of these pictures of the new nvidia yet, because well.. I didn't really care.

But this... this looks... sexy ... too bad I despise seeing the inside of my case (but I might just for this one)
