Garmin And TomTom To Both Ship Over 10 Million PNDs In 2007
According to component makers, thanks to strong demand in the fourth quarter, TomTom should be able to grow its PND shipments to more than 10 million units this year while Garmin is likely to have annual shipments of 12 million units. TomTom has increased its PND shipments to 9-10 million units so far this year while accumulated shipments from Garmin have exceeded 10 million units, noted the component makers.
