Pro golfer sues over Wikipedia vandalism
Next news
Professional golfer "Fuzzy" Zoeller Jr. is suing a Miami company over alleged false Wikipedia entries. Zoeller claims a computer at Josef Silny & Associates was used to add allegations of drug and alcohol abuse to Zoeller's Wikipedia entry. Josef Silny has hired a computer consultant to investigate the matter.
Zoeller is suing the company and wants to find out who made the edits after his legal team tracked down the IP address used to make the latest edits on December 20th 2006. This address may or may not be the same address that was used in the initial vandalism which started in August 2006.
Zoeller has won several professional golf tournaments including the Senior PGA Championship, The Masters and the U.S. Open.
