David Joe, executive vice president and spokesperson of HannStar Display, has denied the rumor that HannStar recently cut its 17" LCD monitor panel price to US$155.
Joe indicated that HannStar is not selling its panels for US$155 since this would be below the company's production costs. The price of its high-end 17" monitor panel is currently US$175, with low-end models priced US$5-10 lower, Joe added.
