IPhone, Prada Phone Increase Demand In Touch Screen Panel Film Capacity
As Apple and LG Electronics launched iPhone and Prada Phone, respectively, incorporating a touch screen panel in 2007, interest in the touch screen panel has been heating up again. Production capacity of ITO film is likely to grow 13.4% from last year to 3.1 million square meters this year, and will also move up further by 71.2% on year to 5.3 million square meters by 2008, a market research Displaybank predicts.
