Koolance Launches QD1H No-Spill Quick Disconnect Water Cooling Fittings

Koolance announced that it has released a set of quick disconnect water cooling fittings for 3 mm inner diameter tubing. Koolance said the QD1H no-spill quick disconnect fittings were designed to be as small as possible while taking advantage of the company's patented auto-shutoff, no-spill quick disconnect mechanism.

These new fittings are offered with barbs and clamps, but the company didn't mention a compression fitting option. Koolance sells the quick disconnects as individual parts, not as a set. The female couplings are only available with barb ends, but the option to get threaded QD1H fittings is offered for male couplings.

I'm trying to understand the kind of tubing this would be used with... 3mm ID tubing is REALLY tiny, especially for water cooling...

They are available for up to 1/2" tubing.

3mm is the ID of the quick-connect itself, not the tubing with which they can be used.

thats a big flow restriction. need wider connectors on both ends.
