Nvidia ships 750,000 nForce 4 SLI chipsets
Next newsNvidia's SLI capable nForce 4 chipset is far from being a product that penetrates a substantial portion of the global PC market, but it is much more successful than Nvidia may have anticipated: The company announced today that it has shipped more than 750,000 SLI units for the AMD64 platform. To support this success, Nvidia said it has launched SLIzone.com, a website that caters to SLI users, and expanded its SLI certification program.
Earlier this month Nvidia has began shipping nForce 4 SLI for Intel processors, which is likely to accelerate sales of the chipset. (THG)
