Culver City (CA) - Logitech is trying to spice up normally boring speakers with its new Z10 series. The speakers have a touch-sensitive control panel and an LCD panel that can display CPU and RAM usage along with typical song information. You can see the speakers in operation in the following video.
The speakers connect via USB port, but you can also connect them to iPods or other audio devices via a traditional speaker cable. In fact, you can become a virtual DJ by playing two audio sources at the same time.
QuickVids are a new series of short videos focusing on new products that have come into the testing lab. While QuickVids definitely shouldn't be considered to be a complete review, the videos will give an introduction to the most interesting features of new products.
