Ritek Licensed By Sonic Solutions To Produce Qflix DVD Discs
Ritek, the second largest Taiwan-based producer of optical discs, has signed a Qflix technology and IP licensing agreement with US-based Sonic Solutions, a global provider of digital media software, according to press materials released by the companies. The Qflix technology offers a means for content owners to release titles with CSS (Content Scramble System) encryption for custom production and sale over the Internet.
