Samsung digs in to avoid 8 Gbit NAND flash price freefall
Next newsAlthough NAND flash contract prices continued dropping in July, it appears Samsung Electronics has started applying the brakes on high-density 8Gbit parts, as prices for the segment are falling as much lower rate. Contract prices for the 4Gbit segment fell 14.7% from June and 2 Gbit prices fell 10.2 percent, while the 8Gbit segment saw a drop of only 7.7 percent, according to DRAMeXchange.
