Samsung announced its new high-end LCD SyncMaster 930mp that integrates a stand-alone TV as well as built-in FM radio. The device is eqipped with Dolby speakers, and multiple video inputs including component, composite and S-Video, for direct hook up to a DVD player, camcorder, VCR, security camera or other video sources.
According to Samsung, the monitor offers a 1000:1 contrast ratio that allows the display of detailed onscreen images as well as a 178-degree viewing angle. The model provides a brightness rate of 250 cd per m2, a pixel pitch of 0.294, a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 and comes with a built-in power supply.
The 930mp retails for about $650. (THG)
