Samsung announced its 17" SyncMaster 711t LCD with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, one of the highest of any 17" LCDs in the marketplace today.

The high-end 711t features a 178-degree viewing angle, a brightness rate of 250cd/m2, a pixel pitch of .264mm and a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024.
