Toshiba preps triple-layer HD DVD
Next newsDuring the recently concluded CES show, in addition to announcing that the HD DVD group has added four additional hardware vendors including Onkyo, Bandai, Meridian and Taiwan-based Lite-On IT, Toshiba indicated that the company is developing triple-layer HD DVD discs with a storage capacity reaching 51 GB. Toshiba plans to start volume production of the disc in the fourth quarter of this year.
