TSMC and ARM announce power reduction on 65nm

While announcing the success of its design collaboration with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) on the new 65nm low-power test chip, ARM indicated that shipments of its core processors will grow more than double to hit 4.5 billion units in 2010.

ARM and TSMC announced that their design collaboration on a 65nm low-power test chip, which is based on the ARM926EJ-S processor, resulted in significant reductions in both dynamic and leakage power.
