New Leak of Windows 8; New Videos of Metro UI
Check out the unlock pattern screen and the webcam interface!
Leaks of Windows 8 are very real, and now we have a whole new build that's been been put on P2P sharing and FTPs.
According to the public forum Beta Archive, the new leak of Windows 8 is Milestone 2 and carries a build number of 6.2.7955.
The anonymous user who leaked it provided the following notes about unlockable new features:
You can unlock the following:
- Ribbon UI
- Application Folder (now working, in 7850 it was broken)
- Full DWM (hideblur)
The following requires the ''red pill'':
- Webcam
- Login (that ugly guy with ctrl+alt+del, the fishy wallpaper, pattern login)
- TaskUI (new taskmanager)
- PDF Reader
- Immersive Browser
Also new and spotted on the MyDigitalLife forums are a couple of videos showing a touch-based unlocking pattern and a native webcam application. (WARNING: There is some slightly NSFW content in the first video.)

Hopefully the background can be changed to something else in the final RTM.
The CTL-ALT-DEL still needs to go. Like, WOW - I can see the screen, but nothing works unless I use two hands in order to use my computer?
Having the clock, date - and perhaps some notifications sounds all nice. But its not really exiting me at this moment. My monitor is usually off and the system asleep if I'm not using it for a while. But in an office environment in which people are using the PCs on and off all day - it should be more handy.

I do not appreciate the pornographic tid bits, my 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter were also watching at the moment.
not cool.
It's useless till you get the final product in your hands...
You can't hit them with one hand? The 3 finger salute?
I guess it depends on the keyboard, but right-alt, right-ctrl, and the delete above the arrows are all really close to each other.

that's a minority opinion...
As far as I can see, it looks like the same thing MSoft did to the XBox 360 dashboard - took a perfectly working, stylish system, and shoved so much fluffy bullshit into it that it looks like it was made for a two-year-old.
With this comment you just did opposite of what you determined you would do.
