The GTS version clocks in at 500 MHz, 96 shader processors that are clocked at 1200 MHz. Nvidia recommends this card for LCDs with sizes of up to 24". As the GTX, the GTS also integrates 681 million transistors.

If the 8800 GTX is too expensive, Nvidia also offers a GTS model for $450.
The GTS is equipped with 640 MB of 800 MHz GDDR3 memory. The 320 Mb memory interface provides a bandwidth of 64 GB/s; the texture fill rate of GTS versions is rated at 26 GTexels/s.
