T-Mobile, the fourth largest carrier in the U.S., has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S3 has become the carrier’s best selling device in its history.
The smartphone has set several records since its launch five months ago internationally (four months ago in the U.S.). During its first 100 days of sale, the Samsung Galaxy S3 sold more than 20 million units globally, subsequently becoming one of the best selling Android smartphone in history. Samsung, though, expects the device to sell a further ten million units before 2013 arrives.
As for Apple's legal victory against Samsung which saw the latter being ordered to pay over $1 billion in damages, that hasn't exactly resulted in the sales for the Galaxy S3 slowing down. If anything, it actually spearheaded the smartphone's sales, with the device experiencing a 16 percent increase in demand since August. Its commercial performance has resulted in Samsung predicting record profit of $7.3 billion during the third quarter.
