Apple's New iMacs Will Start at £1149 in the UK
By , - Source: Apple

It's been a busy month for Apple. After the unveiling and launch of two brand new iPhones and the release of iOS 7, the company this week announced brand new Haswell-equipped iMacs. The iMacs are already available online and start at $1,299. In the UK, they're a bit pricier (no surprise there).

According to Apple's UK website, the 21.5-inch iMac is available with a 2.7 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.2 GHz and Intel Iris Pro will go for £1,149, while the upgraded model with a 2.9 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.6 GHz and Nvidia GeForce GT 750M graphics will go for £1,299.

Jumping up the 27-inch iMac, things start at £1,599 for a 3.2 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.6 GHz and Nvidia GeForce GTX 755M graphics. The 27-inch iMac equipped with a 3.4 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.8 GHz and Nvidia GeForce GTX 775M graphics carries a suggested retail price of £1,749.

All models sport 802.11ac WiFi, 8 GB of RAM as standard, a 1 TB hard drive, two Thunderbolt ports, and four USB 3.0 ports. Customers can also up the RAM to 32 GB and storage can be increased to 3 TB HDD (though this will, of course, cost you).
