EKWB Building New Water Blocks for Asus and MSI Cards
By , - Source: EKWB

EKWB has announced that it is working on a total of five new water blocks, four of which are for very high-performance graphics cards.

The water blocks that EKWB is working on are built for Asus' GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II, both of the upcoming ROG Matrix graphics cards, as well as MSI's R9 290X Lightning. The blocks will be known as the EK-FC780 GTX Ti DCII, EK-FC780 GTX Ti Matrix, EK-FC R9-290X Matrix, and the EK-FC R9-290X Lightning.

As always, these blocks will cover the graphics cards' GPU, memory, and VRM circuitry. They will also feature the high-flow design, allowing them to be used in longer, more complex loops or in loops with weaker pumps.

In addition to these, the company also announced that it is building a water cooling kit that will work on almost all GTX 750 (Ti) graphics cards. Due to the massive variation in the custom PCB designs, EKWB has opted to stick to a kit with a water block for only the GPU and memory, with the intention of increasing compatibility. The block will be known as the EK-FC750 GTX, with pricing yet to be announced.
