Report: Intel SSD 530 Series SSDs Launching Next Week

According to a leaked SSD roadmap posted by VR-Zone, Intel will be launching the successor to its performance consumer SSD 520 and SSD 525 series SSDs next week, July 8 to July 12, 2013.

The next generation 530 series will feature the newest 20 nm MLC NAND flash, the same LSI-SandForce SF-2281 controller with presumably updated firmware.

It’s also worth noting that according to the roadmap, the 530 series SSDs were initially slated for a release in June, and the 335 series SSDs will continue through Q1 2014 as Intel’s mid-range product.
