Before I forget, couple of rules on the contest:
1) This is a random drawing using the forum names of any reader's rig submitted since the Tom's Talkback show started.
2) Bestofmedia LLC or any of its affiliates are not responsible for damages resulting from the use of the prize.
3) Winner is responsible for any taxes.

Best of luck, and thanks for watching!

I can tell you when i7 is going to be available. I don't remember the exact date, I should have paid more attention, but I think it is supposed to be the the 14th. It was either that or the 17th, I don't remember. Next month. Should be fun. How do I know? To protect the innocent, I can't tell...

There are actually two dates--one date when we can talk numbers and another when Intel will start selling hardware.

Ah, I see. I didn't think it should be protected info when the hardware would be available. So how much of a jump do you get on before the release? I'd bet no more than a week before.
