Gigantic: Tuniq Tower 120
Tuniq offers a massive cooler under the brand name Tower 120. At 5.1" (130 mm) wide and 6.1" (155 mm) high, this was one of the heftiest coolers we tested. At first glance it looks like a passive model; only on closer inspection does one discover the 120 mm fan that sits at the heart of this machine.
Heat is conducted from the processor to the cooling fins via six heat pipes. The huge aluminum fins then release the heat into the surrounding air.
Computers with Athlon XP processors cannot use this cooler; however, it supports all P4 and K8 sockets:
- Socket 478 for Pentium 4
- Socket LGA775 for Pentium 4
- Socket 754/939/940 for Athlon 64 and Athlon 64 FX
