Conclusion

We have no big surprises to report following our tests. If sound quality is the most important feature for you, the most attractive system is without a doubt the Logitech X-230, but its limited connectivity possibilities are a drawback and could make you lean towards the Creative T3000, which offers bigger sound but still has very creditable listening quality. Finally, the Altec Lansing VS.2121 might appeal to those who seek the smallest possible footprint, which also offers good results as long as you don't pump up the volume.
