I/O Performance
I/O performance isn’t impressive on the Savvio 10K.4 drive, which obviously wasn't optimized to deliver maximum results for this type of workload. Toshiba’s MBF2600RC is significantly faster, but still nowhere near being king of the ring. Both drives clearly don’t aim at I/O-intensive applications.
