Asus' Soft-SLI

This is the status quo on most boards: activating SLI mode requires inserting the SLI switch module into the proper socket.

Here is what Asus changed: these chips enable software SLI switching.

The user can choose from SLI, dual or auto switch modes in the BIOS. Dual mode will enable both graphics cards without running them in SLI mode (dual graphics only).

The Overclock Profile in the sub menu 'Jumper Free' needs to be set to Auto.
