The averages obtained for each card and for each game including Crysis. Similarly, the numbers obtained with STALKER are found in averages taken with filters disabled. Please note the progression of the Radeon HD 3870 compared to the last review, placing itself slightly ahead of the HD 2900 XT in most resolutions. With regard to the HD 3870 X2, as we've said, its lead over the 8800 Ultra is slim in those resolutions and it's even behind NVIDIA in 1680x1050 with filters enabled! We haven't included averages from the Radeon HD 3870/3850 CrossFire since it wasn't able to launch Age of Empires III. However throughout this review, it is often slightly slower than the Radeon HD 3870 X2 except in Call of Duty 4.
