The front features a USB port and three buttons for "automatic backup", "backup on demand" and "safe shutdown". The first one takes care of predefined data backup schemes, the second enables spontaneous backup and the third should be self-explanatory.
The power connector, as well as USB and FireWire ports, is located on the back. There is also a second USB port available, but it only works if the Media Center is connected via USB at the same time.
