The Digital Storm Twister Extreme blows past 20,000 3D marks quite easily at both basic and visually enhanced settings. On the other hand, we're certain most users would be satisfied with the "nearly 20k" results of the AVA Direct system.

It appears that SPECviewperf 9 actually loses performance from SLI mode, which is quite a surprise given the results we've seen in earlier tests of a previous benchmark version. Most notable of the losses is the 3D Studio Max viewset, which shows completely opposite results from those seen in the actual 3D Studio Max application. We've only recently resumed SPECviewperf testing: perhaps we should reconsider its validity?
